I was up in Mammoth Mountain snowboarding and on the last day I decided to go and take my niece sledding. While I was there I witnessed this father and son playing in the snow and asked if I could take pictures of them as they continued playing. Making snow angels, snow men, eating snow, and teaching him how to throw a snowball. I could tell this dad loved being a father, he was so happy to be there with his son, fully content and without any signs of obligation. This is how I caught this image where they just gazed into each other's eyes, smiling, once again happily and fully content.
